<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof structure with excellent sound insulation property in addition to air permeability and daylighting properties. <P>SOLUTION: A soundproof structure has a plurality of hollow bodies arranged in parallel at predetermined intervals. The plurality of hollow bodies have reflection surfaces each at a sound incident side for reflecting incident sound, and include hollow parts 30A to 30C each serving as a helmholtz resonator. The hollow part has a longitudinally extending slit-like opening communicated with the hollow part in a surface opposite the adjacent hollow body. The hollow body is formed by combining two or more shapes which extend in an axial direction of the hollow body.
