PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optoelectronic device.

SOLUTION: An optoelectronic device includes: a p-doped region and an n-doped region formed in a semiconductor substrate; a light guide core region formed between the p-doped region and the n-doped region; a plurality of first slabs formed between the light guide core region and the p-doped region, separated from each other by a first distance, and each having a thickness equal to that of the light guide core region; and a plurality of second slabs formed between the light guide core region and the n-doped region, separated from each other by a second distance, and each having a thickness equal to that of the light guide core region.
