PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aroma component-containing extract of high quality from a plant at low cost.

SOLUTION: A method of producing the aroma component-containing extract that contains an aroma component derived from the plant. The method includes a step of heating the plant and subjecting it to depressurization while pulverizing and stirring the plant, thus generating a vapor derived from the plant.
