<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorption mechanism for a movable mirror of a camera, which can restrain a bound of the movable mirror by a simple structure having a low number of components, contributing downsizing and cost reduction of the camera. <P>SOLUTION: An impact absorption mechanism for a movable mirror of a camera, comprises: a mirror retreat absorbing member which, when the movable mirror rotates from a finder light guiding position to a retreat position, comes into abutting contact with the movable mirror and is moved by being pushed by the movable mirror, and which absorbs an impact on the movable mirror; and a mirror advance absorbing member which, in a state in which the movable mirror rotates to the retreat position, is held in a limiting position for limiting a movable range of the mirror retreat absorbing member in a direction opposite to a direction of the pushing movement by the movable mirror, and which, when the movable mirror rotates from the retreat position to the finder light guiding position, comes into abutting contact with the movable mirror and is moved from the limiting position by being pushed by the movable mirror, releasing the limit of the movable range of the mirror retreat absorbing member and absorbing an impact on the movable mirror. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
