<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for connecting a coil material preventing a bend from starting at the connection part even if end parts of a preceding coil and a following coil are joined to each other within a production line. <P>SOLUTION: The respective end parts 91, 92 of the preceding coil 9a and the following coil 9b are punched simultaneously by a punching punch 5 under the condition where a belt-like material end terminal 91 of the preceding coil 9a and a belt-like material starting end 92 of the following coil 9b fed into the production line are opposed each other, so as to be formed into an engagement shape hooked each other, when connecting the end parts 91, 92, and respective engagement shape parts 93, 94 are pressed by a die including the punch 5, to be engaged, under the condition where the respective engagement shape parts 93, 94 in the belt-like material end terminal 91 of the preceding coil 9a and the belt-like material starting end 92 of the following coil 9b punched into the engagement shape are arranged vertically each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
