<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of causing inconvenience of setting the ignition timing to the ignition timing delay side or the ignition timing advance side from an optimal point, when performing ignition correction control based on the relationship provided in steady operation of flow strengthening valve opening and the ignition timing, when the flow strengthening valve opening changes transitionally, since the opening of a flow strengthening valve has influence not only on a flow but also on a flow rate. <P>SOLUTION: This control device of an internal combustion engine having the flow strengthening valve, arithmetically operates the suction air volume flowing in a cylinder based on the suction air volume, a rotating speed and an operation state of the flow strengthening valve detected by an air flow sensor, arithmetically operates a turbulence strengthening index in the cylinder based on the rotating speed, the suction air volume flowing in the cylinder and the operation state of the flow strengthening valve, and arithmetically operates the ignition timing based on the rotating speed, the suction air volume flowing in the cylinder and the turbulence strengthening index. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
