The present invention provides: a light-guide forming film with which a light guide having a graded-index type refractive index distribution or a refractive index distribution similar thereto can be manufactured at low cost and with high efficiency; a light guide having high reliability and little propagation loss; and electronic equipment comprising such a light guide. In one embodiment of the present invention, a layer (910) (light-guide forming film of the present invention) includes a reactive medium which undergoes a chemical reaction accompanied by a change in refractive index in response to irradiation with active radiation (930) and has a refractive index distribution in which the refractive index continuously decreases from the inside to both surfaces in the thickness direction. By selectively irradiating an irradiation region (925) in the layer (910) with active radiation (930), a refractive index distribution having, sequentially, a very low value, a very large value, and a very low value can easily be formed. If this layer (910) has a refractive index distribution of this kind of shape, by employing this layer (910) it is easy to manufacture a light guide in which propagation loss and crosstalk can be suppressed.
