PURPOSE: A paperboard die cutting machine having a guide plate for protecting a cut face is provided to prevent damage to the edge of a paperboard cut by a cutting blade. CONSTITUTION: A paperboard die cutting machine comprises a first press(101) and a second press(102). The first and second presses comprise first and second supports(110,150), first and second die fixing units(120,160), first and second dies(130,170), and first and second die guide plates(141,181). Paperboards are arranged on the top of the first and second supports. The first and second die fixing units are vertically moved toward the first and second supports. The first and second dies are installed on the bottom surfaces of the first and second die fixing units and have cutting blades. The first and second die guide plates are installed in the first and second die fixing units and are vertically moved. When the first and second die fixing units are descended, the first and second die guide plates are adhered to the top surfaces of the paperboards. |
