PURPOSE: An optical fiber is provided to include a low refractive index trench layer, thereby forming lossless bending properties. CONSTITUTION: An inner layer is arranged outside of a core(110). The inner layer has a refractive index lower than the core. A trench layer(130) is arranged outside of the inner layer. An outer layer(140) is arranged outside of the trench layer. The outer layer has a refractive index lower than the core and higher than the minimum refractive index.
