<p>Sleeve connector for a cable, as in parent patent, is a crosslinked polyethylene shrinkable tube, whose inner wall has an adhesive layer of crosslinkable polyolefin rubber for joining to the cable's polyethylene sheath. Pref. the adhesive consists of copolymers of ethylene, a further copolymerisable monomer, and a peroxide additive.</p> |
