METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RECLOSING CONTROL USING A HARMONIC RATIO

PURPOSE: A reclosing control apparatus which uses a harmonic ratio and a method thereof are provided to minimize unnecessary no-voltage time by effectively detecting a final arc time point, thereby improving reliability of a power supply process. CONSTITUTION: A voltage detection part(110) extracts a harmonic component included in a fault phase voltage waveform using a STFT(Short Time Fourier Transform). An HR(Harmonic Ratio) calculation part(120) calculates a harmonic ratio value of an odd harmonic wave and an even harmonic wave based on the extracted harmonic component. A filtering part(130) arranges a window with a predetermined size in a waveform which has the harmonic ratio value calculated by the HR calculation part. A reclosing controller(140) determines a final arc state. The reclosing controller controls a reclosing process according to a determination result.
