PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manually operated transmission for a vehicle equipped with a positioning mechanism capable of accurately fixing a shift select shaft in shift cable adjusting work and capable of dispensing with an unnecessary component in the manually operated transmission for the vehicle equipped with the shift select shaft interlocked with a shift cable. SOLUTION: An existing shift guide mechanism 82 works as a fixing mechanism 102, increase of the number of components caused by providing another fixing mechanism can be prevented, and the shift select shaft 30 can be accurately fixed in a predetermined position.
