<p>In one aspect, the invention relates to a computer-implemented method comprising:
- analyzing metadata being an integral part of a first application to identify a first data object and one or more first fields of the first data object, said first data object and said first fields being part of the metadata of the first application and to be used in a communication with a second application;
- identifying one or more second applications having a second data object with one or more second fields to determine, for each of the one or more second applications, a supported connectivity to the first application;
- evaluating whether at least one of the one or more second applications supports a point-to-point connectivity with the first application;
- in case at least one point-to-point application of the second applications supports point-to-point connectivity with the first application, providing the metadata of the first application including the first data object and the first fields to the at least one point-to-point application; and
- in case at least one of the second applications supports a connectivity with the first application through a central design time repository, transferring metadata of the first application, the metadata including the first data object and the first fields, to the central design time repository.</p> |
