The windmill has a rotatable base plate (P) mounted on a base point (F) and comprising a pedestal bearing (L) on the base plate, where the windmill operates as a high tower. A stand (S) is rotatably and tiltably supported in the bearing and projects from the base point up to a head (K) over entire length of the high tower. A bearing for a propeller shaft (W) is attached in the stand, where the stand is flexibly or fixedly connected with the rotatable head. Brakes are attached at or on the propeller shaft, and a generator (Ge) is mounted on the base plate. |
