摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device, with a solar cell and a storage battery installed, free from being overcharged, easily controllable with depth of discharge not too shallow and not too deep, and with the storage battery resulting in long lifetime. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination device 1 with a solar cell includes a solar cell 2, a storage battery 3, an illumination part 4, and a control part 5 which installs an output detection means 11 monitoring a power generation state of the solar cell, a capacity detection means 12 monitoring a charging state of the storage battery and a lighting control means 13 controlling a lighting state of the illumination part. A charging startup control means 15 is provided for carrying out a first control which forbids charging of the storage battery even if it is in a power generating state at the end of lighting, in the case of its storage capacity being full at start of lighting and a second control which permits charging of the storage battery into a power generation state after the end of lighting in the case of its storage capacity being not full at start of lighting, on the basis of the storage capacity of the storage battery at the start of lighting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
