<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize an automatic opening/closing device for a vehicle including a detected body and a detection sensor for detecting rotation of an output shaft. <P>SOLUTION: A worm gear mechanism 32 decelerating a rotation speed of an electric motor for outputting from the output shaft 28 is housed in a gear case 31, and a drum 51 is fixed to a front end portion of the output shaft 28 projecting from the gear case 31 to the outside. Motive power of the output shaft 28 is transmitted from the drum 51 to a sliding door. A recessed part 35a centered at an axial center and recessed in an axial direction is formed in a worm wheel 35 constituting the worm gear mechanism 32, a magnet unit 62 constituting a rotation sensor 61 is disposed inside the recessed part 35a of the worm wheel 35, and a magnetic sensor 63 for detecting rotation of the magnet unit 62 is fixed to an inner surface of the gear case 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
