<p>Plastics hook has an adjunct composed of two legs forming a V. The first leg is fitted with a disc and centre pin having a cone tip. The second leg has a hole for the tip of the pin, slightly narrower to ensure firm locking. A lever is provided to operate the adjunct legs, together with a pistol grip which acts on the lever arms so as to force the two legs of the adjunct closer together and thus drive the pin through into the hole on the second leg, with the pierced skin between. The hanger does not break the flesh and is thus hygienically sound, maintaining the quality of the animal.</p> |
