Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Suspension

Powder suspensions in liquids are prepared by (a) placing the powder in a vacuum vessel, (b) evacuating the vacuum vessel, (c) wetting and completely covering the powder with liquid under vacuum, and (d) adjusting the suspension to the desired concn. The method enables powdered materials to be conveniently wetted and then converted into suspensions in liquids, without formation of powder agglomerates. The method can be used for the formation of lacquers, or pigment suspensions for dyeing/printing textiles.
