PURPOSE: A microwave-based sludge drying apparatus with a structure for adjusting the amount of sludge is provided to improve the efficiency of a drying operation by adjusting the thickness and the width of sludge with optimal conditions. CONSTITUTION: A sludge drying apparatus includes a hopper(10), a stirring block(20), a pair of first and second stirring drums(30, 40), a pair of first and second discharging drums(50, 60), a sludge discharging guide(70), a transferring unit(80), and a drying unit(90). The transferring unit transfers sludge at a constant speed. The drying unit includes a plurality of microwave oscillators(92) and an exhaust unit(93). The sludge discharging guide includes a width adjusting rib and a thickness adjusting board. The width adjusting rib adjusts the width of the sludge. The thickness adjusting board forms a space between a suite and a bottom part and adjusts the height of the space to adjust the thickness of the sludge. The drying unit includes a reflector(94) and a draining path. The reflector reflects electromagnetic wave from the microwave oscillators to the sludge. |
