<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibratory gyroscope in which noise level of its noise signal can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In the vibratory gyroscope, a vibrator 2 includes a pair of main surfaces, side surface and protrusion 24 projecting from rim of the vibrator. The vibratory gyroscope itself includes driving electrodes 11J-11Q formed at least on side surface of the vibrator, sensing electrodes 14E-14H formed at least on side surface of the vibrator, first conducting layers 18, 20 formed on the side surface to be connected with the driving electrodes, and second conducting layers 19, 21 formed on the side surface to be connected with the sensing electrodes.
