<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the operator work load when manufacturing more than one type of mounting board with a component mounter. <P>SOLUTION: A component mounter splits multiple production programs into clusters executable without the need of feeder changeovers, sequentially executes the production programs on a cluster-by-cluster basis, and mounts components fed by feeders on a board positioned in place. A component mounting system having the component mounter comprises: a leading program decision means (S3) that decides whether a production program to be subsequently executed leads a cluster; a production start means (S6 and S7) that execute a production program decided as a leading program by the judgment means only when it is confirmed that changeover has been completed; and an automatic production means (S8 and S9) that download a production program decided as not a leading program by the decision means to the component mounter and automatically execute the production program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
