Liquid composition comprises 5-95, preferably 30-70 wt.% of sorbitan monocaprylate and one or more alcohols of formula (R-OH) (I), respectively. R : a residue comprising carbon, hydrogen and optionally 5-12, preferably 6-11 oxygen atoms, carbon or ether units, where the carbon atoms are optionally linked by linear, branched and/or cyclic, saturated, unsaturated and/or aromatic carbon-carbon bonds and the individual carbon atoms, hydrogen atoms and/or hydroxyl groups are bonded.
