<p>A permanent-magnet motor is provided with a stator (7) having stator coils (10) for each of the phases that are wound around a stator core (9), and a magnetic pole teeth (8) formed corresponding to the stator coils (10) for each of the phases; a rotor (5) that is equipped with a rotor core (13) having multiple magnet-inserting holes (17) formed in the circumferential direction, and that has permanent magnets, which form magnetic poles corresponding to the magnetic pole teeth (8) of the stator (7), inserted into the magnet-inserting holes (17); and magnetic sensors (H1 through H3) that detect the positions of the magnetic poles of the rotor (5). The permanent magnets are selected, and inserted, from among multiple types of permanent magnets (14, 15) having different coercive forces, so as to make it one type per pole; a magnetic-flux flow path (22) that protrudes into the stator (7) side is formed on the rotor core (13), at a section positioned between two permanent magnets (14, 15) that are adjacent to each other and have different coercive forces; and the magnetic sensors (H1 through H3) will move relatively along a locus (21) that corresponds to the permanent magnets (14, 15) and the magnetic-flux flow path (22), in accordance to the rotation of the rotor (5).</p> |
