PURPOSE: A control method of an anti-lock brake system is provided to reduce a braking distance when rapidly braking on the uniform and dried road surface by applying a revised pressure control pattern different from an existing general ABS control pattern at the ABS control entry time. CONSTITUTION: A control method of an anti-lock brake system comprises next steps. Whether or not a preliminary ABS cycle entry condition is satisfied is detected when a drive's will to brake is detected(125). In case of satisfying the preliminary ABS cycle entry condition, the preliminary ABS process which control a braking pressure increasing is processed(130). Whether or not the ABS cycle entry condition is satisfied is detected(145). In case of satisfying the ABS cycle entry condition, the ABS process is processed while the braking pressure transmitted to wheels is decreased(155). |
