GENERATING DEPENDENCY MAPS FROM DEPENDENCY DATA

PURPOSE: A dependency map generation from dependency data is provided to generate data for describing dependency between software components and display dependency maps based on data. CONSTITUTION: When a software component processes transactions, data for describing dependencies between software components is collected(602). The dependency data is aggregated in order to form a direction graph for indicating dependency between the software components(604). A dependency map is displayed on a display screen based on the direction graph(606). The collected data includes vertex data and edge data.
