The profile (1) has two flanges (11,23), where the former flange is integrally formed in a rectangular-shaped hollow profile in an extension of a front wall. The latter flange is integrally formed in a cross section of a rectangular shaped hollow profile in an extension of a rear wall (24). A longitudinal groove (13) for inserting a hook-and-loop tape is provided on the rear side of the former flange. An independent claim is also included for a sound absorbing unit with a sound element.
