The device has an electrical drive motor (4) i.e. external rotor motor, comprising a rotor and a stator for driving a drive shaft (16) and a blower wheel of an axial blower (6). The drive shaft is rotatably supported at a housing (2), and the rotor is connected with the drive shaft in a torque-proof manner. The stator is rotatably supported on the drive shaft. The stator is supported opposite to the housing against rotation, and movably arranged in a preset direction. The drive motor comprises a connection flange connected with the stator. |
