A method for installing a structure between a first mounting point and a second mounting point. The method involves placing a centering mandrel with a laser positioning unit into a channel in the first mounting point for the structure and locking the centering mandrel in the channel in the first mounting point. The centering mandrel has a first center and the channel has a second center aligned with the first center. The method further involves aligning the first mounting point and the second mounting point with the laser positioning system, and coupling the structure to the first mounting point and the second mounting point after the first mounting point and the second mounting point have been aligned. |
