PURPOSE: A soundproof wall and a construction method thereof are provided to directly fix soundproof plates separated from each other to posts installed at a construction position. CONSTITUTION: A soundproof wall(10) comprises a front plate(11), a middle plate, a rear plate, a rear fixing frame, and a sound absorbing material. The front plate is formed on the front surface of posts(H) and reflects or absorbs noise. The middle plate is coupled to one surface of the front plate and has a noise space. The rear plate is formed on the rear surface of the posts. The rear fixing frame supports one surface of the rear plate. The sound absorbing material is inserted between the middle and rear plates and absorbs noise.
