METHOD FOR MANUFACURING DUCTED PRE-SWIRL STATOR

PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing the duct of a pre-swirl stator is provided to reduce damage due to cavitation generating at a propeller and ensure the structural support rigidity of a duct to hull. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing the duct of a pre-swirl stator is as follows. A cylindrical duct(16) is coupled to the free end of the tip of the pre-swirl stator. A bar(16a) is installed in ends of the leading and trailing edges of the duct. A plate is welded outside and inside the bar, so the duct is manufactured. The cross section of the duct is hollow. The horizontal length of the upper surface of the duct is longer than the horizontal length of the lower surface.
