PURPOSE: A grinding machine for metal specimens is provided to grinded evenly a surface of specimen by is moving a transferring unit. CONSTITUTION: A grinding machine for metal specimens comprises: a grindstone(53), a supporter(10), and a horizontally transferring unit(20). The grindstone is rotated at high speed through a pulley(51) of a headstock(50) and a belt(52) by using the torque of the drive motor. The supporter comprises a one pair of first rails, a rack gear mounting groove and a spur gear. The rack gear mounting groove is formed in the space between the first rails. The spur gear is connected to the end of the first transportation handle(14) of the supporter and circulated with the circulation of the first transportation handle. The right/left carriage is exercised linearly along the first rail. |
