DETECTING SYSTEM OF WHEEL FATIGUE DAMAGE FOR RAILWAY VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A system for detecting fatigue damage of a wheel thread of a railway vehicle is provided to precisely evaluate fatigue damage of a wheel thread of a railway vehicle by using an induction current potential drop method in the contact type. CONSTITUTION: A system for detecting fatigue damage of a wheel thread of a railway vehicle comprises a transport jig, a damage detection sensor(100), and a data analysis unit(200). The transport jig transfers a test vehicle wheel(10). The damage detection sensor induces a focused induction current to a wheel thread of a railway vehicle, thereby detecting an electric potential difference. The data analysis unit analyzes out images with respect to the fatigue damage of a wheel thread by using information related to the electric potential difference detected from the damage detection sensor.
