PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing micro lens array is provided to form a light shielding film in a space between lenses on micro lens array, thereby preventing the decrease of image quality of focal plane of the micro lens by the light ray on the skew side. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method for a micro lens array includes the following steps. A master plate with a plurality of forming grooves on one side is prepared inside a vacuum chamber. A light shielding layer is formed by spraying a metal deposition, an ink or black matrix on the forming grooves. A substrate which is a main raw material for micro lnes is prepared inside the vacuum chamber.
