DIGITAL TRANSDUCER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A digital converter and a controlling method of the same are provided to detect a measurement error of a measurement unit by comparing measured values between measurement units, thereby enhancing the operation continuity even when an error occurs in one measurement unit. CONSTITUTION: A digital converter includes a detection unit(10), a measurement unit(21,22,23), and a control unit(30), and an output unit(40). The detection unit detects the quantity of electricity in the power line. The measurement unit converts the analog quantity of electricity detected from the detection unit into a digital measurement value. The control unit receives digital measurement values and detects a measurement error by comparing the digital measurement values. The output unit outputs a converted digital output value by converting it into an analog output value. The output unit feedbacks the analog output value to the control unit by converting it into a digital output value.
