FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of at least one compound from phosphorus compounds for stabilising diesters of dicarbonic acid against chemical and thermal decomposition, where the phosphorus compounds are compounds of phosphorus with oxygen which contain at least one phosphorus-oxygen bond. The invention also relates to a mixture for preserving food products, beverages and materials, which contains one or more diesters of dicarbonic acid of general formula in which R1 and R2 independently denote a straight or branched alkyl with 1-8 carbon atoms, and 0.01-100000 ppm of one or more phosphorus compounds in terms of dialkyl esters of dicarbonic acid or mixture thereof, wherein the phosphorus compounds are compounds of phosphorus with oxygen which contain at least one phosphorus-oxygen bond. Disclosed also is a method for distillation purification of diesters of dicarbonic acid, in which one or more dialkyl esters of dicarbonic acid of general formula (I), where R1 and R2 independently denote a straight or branched alkyl with 1-8 carbon atoms are mixed one or more phosphorus compounds selected from compounds of phosphorus with oxygen which contain at least one phosphorus-oxygen bond, and the obtained mixture is distilled. ^ EFFECT: high efficiency of the stabilisation method. ^ 15 cl, 6 tbl, 2 ex |
