PURPOSE: A CCTV system for transmitting and receiving a camera control signal is provided to enable a CCTV system to reduce installation amount of communication lines. CONSTITUTION: A dedicated communication line(103) transmits and receives a video signal and a video control signal between a camera unit(101) and a monitoring and controlling unit(102). A power line(106) supplies operation power to the camera unit. A PLC(Power Line Communication) modem of a camera unit side(107) receives a camera control signal by a hyperslow PLC method. A PLC modem of a monitoring and controlling unit side(108) transmits the camera control signal.
