Film winding - heated and wound with a cooling carrier to contract and remove creases

The thin 2 mu m plastic film is heated to a temp. of 120 degrees C to dissipate any residual heat forming tendencies, and wound with a carrier with or without an adhesive, held at 80 degrees C. On contact, the cooler carrier causes the film to contract, and removing any creases in the film ducing the winding process. Films used e.g. as dielectrics in electrical condensors.
