In specific applications, the heavy-atom crystallised side-chain polymers containing are especially applicable. An example of HACSCCP is a polymer which contains a main chain, a set of crystallised side chains and a set of heavy atoms attached to the polymer. In specific configurations, the heavy atoms are found in number which is effective to make the polymer X-ray contrast. A medical device may represent an embolotherapy system.
