PURPOSE: An outside mirror for vehicles is provided to prevent malfunction due to mechanical operation like an actuator since a plane mirror and a convex mirror are selectively controlled with electrical signals. CONSTITUTION: An outside mirror for vehicles comprises front glass(100), a transmittance varying unit(200), rear glass(300), and a control unit. The transmittance varying unit is attached to the back of the front glass. The transmittance varying unit selectively transmits light according to electrical signals. The rear glass is attached to the rear of the transmittance varying unit. The control unit applies the electrical signals to the transmittance varying unit.
