The wire mesh used for reinforcing concrete structures can be folded to any required shape by a machine. The machine has a base (1) which supports a vertical column (20, 21) at each end. The wire mesh (W) is supported on hooks (3) attachedd to the column (21) and clamping hooks attached to the column (20). These hooks clamp the end of the mesh between two vertical bars which can be swung on bearings around the axis of the vertical column (20) by means of hydraulic jacks (18, 19) and so bend the longitudinal wires of the mesh through 180 deg. |
