FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for drilling. Proposed tool comprises, at least, one chip removal flute and index plate seat arranged at the end of said flute. Aforesaid plate has, at least, one main cutting edge on two sides and, at least, one auxiliary cutting edge on two long sides of working surface, as well as two working surface directed to opposite sides. Plate free working surface rests upon seat bearing surface. Part of free auxiliary cutting edge of the plate active working surface is located at preset distance from nearest sidewall 11 of seat 4.
