PURPOSE: A paging support method and apparatus thereof are provided to reduce power consumption in a femto base station by controlling the constitution of a paging slot. CONSTITUTION: A main processor(440) is connected to an antenna. The main processor determines an overlap phenomenon between a paging listening slot and the AI(Available Interval) of a second base station. The main processor controls the occurrence of the paging listening slot in order to generate the overlap phenomenon within the AI of the second based station.
