FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely oncology, and may be used for treating giant tumours of skin and soft tissues. For this purpose, excision of a skin flap is preceded by cryotherapy of the tumour with decreasing its density by 1/3-1/4 of its original size. It is followed by edge imaging. Figure-of-eight sutures of skin and subcutaneous fat surround the tumour edge at 3-4 cm and are spaced 3.0-3.5 cm. The sutures are ligatured then. Skin is dissected between the sutures and the edge formed after cryotherapy of the tumour. It is followed by excision of the skin flap together with subjacent tissues and the tumour. A free flap is used for skin grafting. ^ EFFECT: method provides reduced intraoperative bleeding accompanying giant tumours of skin and soft tissues, as well as improving ablasticity of the surgical intervention. ^ 1 ex, 3 dwg |
