FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling-mill machinery and serves to automatically control loop tension and height in interstand spaces of hot rolling broad-strip stands. In compliance with this invention, when loop enters the (i+1)-ii-stand, loop holder is automatically lifted from initial position to contact with strip. Thereafter, motor rpm of (i+1)-th stand is regulated to lift loop holder to operating angle. Additionally, interstand space previous i-th stand hydraulic pressure device is corrected. ^ EFFECT: higher accuracy of strip tension adjustment in dynamic conditions, higher yield of rolled stock. ^ 1 dwg |
