PURPOSE: An LED package, a light emitting unit using the same, and a lateral emission type backlight unit are provided to efficiently reduce the size of a substrate by arranging a circuit line on the lower side of an LED package. CONSTITUTION: A second terminal is extensively formed on a second electrode plate(120). The second terminal is separated from a central axis of a lead frame(100) to a second direction. A fixing terminal(500) is extensively formed on the second electrode plate. The fixing terminal is separated from the central axis of the first direction of the lead frame to an opposite direction of the second direction. A mold(600) covers the bottom of the lead frame to prepare a non-conductive region.
