Bleaching detergent compsn. contains:- (A) 10-85% of an org. synthetic detergent chosen from the cpds.:- where R1 is 6-20C alkyl or alkenyl; R2 is HOC, alkyl, M is a salt forming radical. (2) R1-CH-CH2SO3M where R1 is 9-23C alkyl; R2 is 1-8C alkyl, (3) RO(C2H4O)xSO3M where R is 10-18c alkyl or alkenyl; X is 1-30, (4) 12-24C olefin sulphonates, (5) R1(OR2)CH-CH2-SO3M where R1 is8-20C alkyl; R2 is 1-3C alkyl, (6) R1-N(R2)CH3-R3-ZM where R1 is 8-18C alkyl; R2 is 1-3C alkyl or H; R3 is 1-4C alkylene; Z is carboxy, sulphonate or sulphate, (7)R1-Y(+)-CH2-R3-Z(-) where R1 is 8-18C alkyl, alkenyl or hydroxy alkyl contg. 010 ethylene oxide units, and 0-1 glyceryl units; Y is N, P or S; R2 is 1-3C alkyl or more hydroxyalkyl; x is 1 when Y is S and 2 when Y is N or P; R3 is 1-4C alkylene or hydroxy alkylene; Z is carboxylate, sulphonate or sulphate. (B) 10-75% of the citrate:- where M is H or salt forming radicals the compsn. having pH or 6-10 as 0.12% aq. soln. Amt. (1)-(7) is 15-50% of the soln. and pref. 0.001-5% proteolytic enzyme is included which is stable at =54 degrees C.
