<p>Polyamide-6 yarns are false twisted in a falst twisting ferrule whose inlet is provided with a fixed impeller to cool the yarns entering the inlet and thereby reduce the length of the guide path and improve the elasticity of the texturised yarns in e.g. ladies stockings in which the longitudinal and transverse elasticties correspond to 130 and 100%, respectively. Impeller may be made of metal, rubber or plastics material.</p> |
