PURPOSE: An audio system for a hybrid vehicle and a method for amplifying an audio signal are provided to reduce power consumption in an audio signal amplification process according to need by using a class AB amplification method and class D amplification method. CONSTITUTION: A first amplification module(110) offers high quality of sound by amplifying an audio signal inputted with a class AB amplification method. A second amplification module(120) is composed of PWM(Pulse Width Modulation), a class D power integrated circuit, and LPF(Low-Pass Filter). The second amplification module amplifies an audio signal inputted by using small power. A control module(130) amplifies the audio signal by using the second amplification module. The control module amplifies the audio signal by using the first amplification module. The control module checks an engine driving method and a car speed through a vehicle network including a CAN(Controller Area Network). |
