A quick-split joint with a flange lock includes two flanges, a lock that consists of two half-rings with a deep slot on the inner surface, the half-rings are connected at one side in hinged way, or with bolt joint, and at the other side – by means of a wedge or a bolt joint, the flanges have circular slots to which packing elastic ring goes. One of the flanges is made movable and has additional circular slots, in one of additional slots of the movable flange a rigid ring is installed and rigidly connected to the tube of the pipeline. At that in the rigid ring a slot with similar construction to the other additional slot of the movable ring is provided, there an additional packing elastic ring is installed. |
