<p>PURPOSE: A method for estimating a burning rate is provided to estimate an optimum condition by estimating the burning rate of limestone depending on a correlation between grain size and temperature of the limestone. CONSTITUTION: A method for estimating a burning rate is as follows. Firing temperature for plasticizing limestone is computed(S10). The grain size of the limestone is measured(S20). A burning rate is predicted based on the firing temperature and the grain size. The burning rate of the limestone is estimated by substituting the firing temperature and the grain size for the predicted burning rate formula(S30). The quicklime is created by firing the limestone in a furnace.</p> |
